Expect 10+ inventive courses wrapped in Travail’s signature immersive style, with optional wine pairings curated by our in-house Sommelier to elevate the evening even further.

Who says Valentine’s has to be just one night? All February long, we’re serving up date nights designed for falling in love again or for the very first time. Expect house-made pasta, playful tableside moments, and a few surprises along the way.
This is a month-long celebration of connection, comfort, and indulgence, where wine and cocktails flow, plates keep coming, and the experience unfolds course by course across multiple floors at Travail.

This wonderfully wonky multi-course dining experience draws inspiration from curious inventions, childlike wonder, and fantastical sweets, all reimagined through Travail’s signature lens of fine-dining technique, surprise and storytelling. Guests move through a series of whimsical courses that blur the line between savory and sweet, familiar and unexpected, each dish designed to spark nostalgia, curiosity and delight without retelling a specific story.

We are a group of culinary innovators and event curators passionate about hospitality. Travail Kitchen and Amusements is led by chef-owners and James Beard semi-finalists Mike Brown, Bob Gerken, and James Winberg in downtown Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Our newly constructed three-story restaurant hosts a variety of innovative dining concepts, public parties, private events, and local chef collaborations.
